Deleting Tabs

I inadvertantly created a tab in the sidebar on Safari. How do I close it or delete it? There is no x next to the tab.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.5

Then, as said in the previous reply, it simply shows the tab/s opened in the current Safari window session.


It’s a normal behavior to change/update the listed tabs according to the tabs the user opens. You can convert the listed tabs in a group, if heeded.


It’s created automatically whenever a tab (basically, a Safari activty) is open in a Safari window. There’s no need to manually delete it.
