Is the photos straighten wheel gone????

I use the Photos straighten wheel ALL. THE. TIME. The new straighten feature is useless and doesn't straighten at all. Please bring back the wheel ~ you have ruined Photos for me.

How to straighten photos? Until now, every time I wanted to straighten a photo, I would go to Edit and Crop, then a wheel would appear next to the photo. I could turn that the direction and amount I wanted to straighten a photo. That wheel no longer appears, and I do not see any way to straighten the photo. If I click on the word Straighten, it magnifies the size of the photo, but does not really level it out.

Safety filter applied to erase tool. Why are Apple now telling me how to edit my photographs! This is outrageous… I am a naturist and so I naturally have photos that are nude. This does not require a safety filter for nakedness. I am unable to use the erase filter to remove unwanted objects in the background because it just pixelates everything I choose to edit.
