Making Outlook for Mac default email app

When I click on email addresses in Chrome, I get a dialogue box asking me to choose various options, none of which is my preferred application, Outlook for Mac. The article I found suggested changing the default in the Apple Mail app's preferences, but I don't see the options that the article described and I can't find anywhere else to change the default email application to Outlook. I'm on a new Macbook Air with the latest operating system. Tips?

Thanks, but that's not what appears on my screen. In Apple's Mail (which I don't use), there's only Services --> Settings. In that menu, there's no General tab, no default mail reader option.
