Browser opens instead of new email

Hi all, Since I changed to MacOS Ventura and click on a mailadress in an email, a browser (Chrome which I almost never use) opens instead of a new email. Anyone knows how to change this?

OS 11.7.4 - Apple Mail will not open browser at prompt to add Google account I have had Gmail working properly in Apple Mail for a very long time in my personally owned MacBook Pro. I had to update my Gmail password due to a security breach and as soon as I did Apple mail prompted me to go to the internet to fix the issue (adding a google account requires this in Mail). The window just stays open after you click "open browser" and shows a whirly ball. Google, Safari, Chrome, all of the above work just fine. it is getting Apple Mail to figure this situation out that is the challenge. HELP! Mac OS Ventura - Viewing emails Emails open in Mail screen BUT ALSO in a second small screen duplicating the email message. I have checked settings, changing one I thought might apply but no-o-o! Cannot find info in the many Mail articles on internet.

My Mac continues to open emails in mail, despite having set outlook as default email app. What do I do? I've got a Mac mini M1, 2020 with Mac OS Monterey. I've been able to change outlook as the default email app in mail, nevertheless whenever I'm opening saved emails they continue to open in Mail. Anyone has any advice on how to fix this?

Check to make sure Mail is set as the default email client in Mail Settings.

As per previous suggestion - First.

Only as an Illustration from within Mail >> Setting >> Mail as " Default email Reader "

Thanks guys, one way or the other this was changed during the update to MacOs Ventura. But it works again.
