Screen on iPad won’t respond to touch

Small crack for months but all of a sudden touch won’t work still get notifications but can turn off bc touch screen stopped working. Crack is tiny and hasn’t effected use.

The iPad screen is an active component that responds to touch; and damage, such as a crack may cause the screen to perform inconsistently, or not at all.
