Can’t open App Store when I go to approve Childs request

Have text for child to make in app purchase. Family share is on. Says view in store. Then goes to store saying cannot connect to App store. Click on search and everything comes up.

why can’t I download apps on my kid’s child account? I set up a child account for my child, but can’t download any apps from their iPad. We can view them in the App Store, but when I press “get”, nothing happens. I restarted their iPad, it’s up to date, “purchase approval” is turned off. Nothing I do works. I also have their apps set to automatically update, but they don’t. And when I try to update them myself, it makes me type in my password and get a code to my phone 100 times. If I allow the app to be on the child’s iPad, then WHY do they need my approval to update it. This is all SUPER ANNOYING!!! FIX this. A Childs account should be simple. I don’t understand why this has to be so complicated.

Family account child games not downloading I have the family sharing account on mine and my child’s iPads. My phone and iPad both work fine downloading anything from the App Store but for both my children it won’t download anything it has me enter the passwords and acts like it is going to but only has the loading circle that comes up next to the app and it never changes or even starts downloading. Anyone know how to fix this?

Unable to ‘get’ apps from App Store on child ID on family sharing We have set up a family account with our 10 year old but are nothing happens when we click the get button on his iPad in the app store. Purchase approval is enabled but we are not even able to get that far and can’t add any apps at all from the App Store

Hello tbdavis,

If you're unable to load the App Store, you'll want to follow these steps: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services

If it's still not working after that, you'll want to contact Apple to report the issue: Get Support

I get this as well on my and my wife’s iPads. But on the iPhone it works fine. Has anyone had an answer on this yet. Followed the connection tests and all good.
