Apple TV - Movie Languages
Hi all! I have questions regarding the languages of the movies I bought in the past. My app store is in Austria. So usually the main language for all titles would be German. However, we are a multi-language household (Thai, German, English) and therefore i always took great care to buy the movies with primary english language (and if that wasn’t available primary, than at least english as one of the secondary languages) in the past.
Now, as it turns out, for many of the movies I bought in english language, the english language isn‘t available anymore. Only german - and that is, to be honest, quite useless. I would say I have this issue with at least 4 dozen movies, so quite a considerable amount of money wasted.
Not only is this disappointing because 3/4 of the family won‘t understand the movies anymore when we have a movie night, its also a set back because i like the original language of movies, many of the jokes and dialogues originally made in english aren‘t as good anymore when they are translated into German.
Is anybody having the same experiences? Language Options in movies disappearing?
