I cant get my apple watch to reset
I didnt disconnect my apple watch before trading in my old phone is there a way I can connect it to my new phone still?

Erase the Watch and then remove it from your Apple account in Find My app in one of your other Apple devices, or on any computer browser in https://icloud.com/find
(Use the exact link wording so you don't need a 2 factor code, and Ignore the bit about phone numbers as you have not lost it)
You a then pair it with any suitable iPhone or sell it.
