I made my payment towards my Apple Card . It’s been almost a week, they payment had been taken out of my account , however the available balance hasnt reflected

I’ve been a customer since the Apple Card came out. Any payments were reflected in the available balance within 30 seconds. Starting last month, any payments made are taking 3-5 days to appear in the available credit and they now added a note about taking up to 10 business days.
No where does Bloomberg or any other source verify that Goldman Sachs accepted Apple’s offer. Bloomberg does not quote any Apple executive or even an Apple employee. Why the rush to spread FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt)?
In my opinion, there’s no need to share anything other than personal experiences or and support articles supported by Apple and their partner, Goldman Sachs Bank.
And they didn’t start happening then. I’m active on both Reddit and the Apple Card group on Facebook. The Facebook group has 20,000 plus members and what you’re reporting is not what is being experienced by the vast majority of 20,000 people. Go read through the posts and you find a couple people reporting a hold on payments.
There are multiple reasons a bank will hold a payment and none of them have to do what you’re proposing.
So you had a returned payment? Is that correct?
They do, in my experience. A returned payment will result in instant availability for 6 to 12 months.
Posts like these have been in the community since shortly after the card was introduced in 2019. I’ve already responded in a different thread this morning. Nothing to see here folks, keep moving. 😀
They didn’t confirm nor did they deny. If these problems started happening the day after this incident, any logical person would make that connections seeing how it’s been completely fine for 4.5 years before this.
Seeing that I just created an account, I haven't setup a profile yet. But it is what is on my birth certificate since my name is Bob Hutchinson and both my b-day and zip code are 216. It's not that serious.
I knew it wasn’t just me.. I was on the phone with them last night, as I thought it must’ve been a genuine mistake. NEVER missed a payment before.
And that 🤡 of a person said the funds will be released by February 8… I see whats going on, very disappointing
Im not sure whats going on. Usually, when I make a payment, its taken out immediately and credited. In this case, soon approaching week number two that the funds were deducted from my account, still zero credit. Its frustrating knowing I’ve paid but transactions still being denied, with credit limit showing the same as before.
Mine just declined a payment last week stating I had insufficient funds yet that bank account had exponentially more money than the payment amount. First time it’s ever happened.
I also use Wells Fargo and I have never had an issue… until this month.
Things seem to be changing for some users.
