Auto update of Apps never update.

Automatic update of apps have never updated themselves. It’s always the same thing, check manually, there is 30 or 40 updates available. I have 5 devices, none have ever updated by themselves, I have my doubts this feature works. Yes, I have it set for automatic update, rebooted devices, even set in a analytics of the device, still not working. 4 are IOS devices and one is a Mac.

Automatic app updates not working For a long time now I have apps that I will notice aren’t working correctly and I will have to manually update them, even though I have automatic updates on and notice other apps updating automatically by themselves. Yet I still have to constantly check apps as I notice problems because apps only automatically update randomly. My phone is up-to-date, I shut it off several times recently, and turned it back on, and I rarely leave my house anymore so I’m consistently on my home wifi network. This is getting super frustrating. Why have automatic updates if they aren’t actually going to automatically update?

iOS: App updates reappear multiple times This issue persists and has been around since (at least) 2020 (e.g. App Store Updates keep reappearing a few … - Apple Community). I go to the app store, go to the available updates, click on update, the app updates and moves down. A few hours later, the same app is in the list again with the EXACT SAME update (no, it is not a new update, it is the same). This happens constantly. A "community specialist", whose helpfulness can only be topped by an A.I. customer support call, suggested in the thread linked above to update the iPhone to the latest update and to set the app updates to automatic. As if that was the question. I like to have the option to manually update an app, when and if I choose to. Or is that a bug? Then remove that option, Apple. And my phone (iPhone 13 "mini") is on the latest iOS—not that that ever fixed anything.

All of my Apple electronics seem to revert to old versions of apps and firmware without my consent on a daily basis! For some reason everyday, I have to go into the App Store and manually search for the apps that are installed on my phone and hit the update button. It never fails. Every day! The apps that need to be updated, are most of the time sitting in the "recently updated" column of the App Store my account page. I will have to click on the app (which says "open" instead of "update") and look at applications' developer information page window within the app store.This is also true if I am scrolling through the App Store and pass an app which is installed on my phone, It will say "open" until I click on it. Then it will say and give me the button to "update". When I look at my apps in settings, the apps in question will have an extra acknoledgmnet in the about page. They will also have a version pre-installed which they seem to revert back to. There are some apps which seem to change settings more frequently like Spotify, Norton, Google apps, and Chrome, however if I let my phone go a day (24hrs) without charging, the next time I use it, I have to update all my apps or else my phone will crash and get an absurd amount of ads and interference. Today when I was driving, I placed my phone on my car charger and put my stereo on auxiliary plug and I could hear myself driving along the highway through my car speakers from my iPhone's microphone. I don't want to seam like another tweaker crash log snooper but I feel like this is really not normal behavior. Please help!

Toggle OFF and then ON App Updates Settings > App Store > App Updates
