Images with links disappear when sent by Mail since upgrading to Ventura

It's still happening in Sonoma 14.1.1

I'm trying to link header image for a fundraising email on my client's behalf. I tried both a png and jpg. It reduced both images to a text link. Ever since they added a preview image option to links..it is a guessing game as to what's going to show up in other's emails. Any updates?

This only happens when I add a link to an image. Without a link, embedded images still work as expected.

you can simply include the url in the content of the email... does that work.

You can put a . in front of the link if you do not want it to blossom.

I have the same problem. I want to send photos that open as catalog links but the photos all disappear if there is link in the photo itself. I can't imagine why you can no longer do this...

Thanks for letting us know I was going to upgrade to Sonoma to see if it's solved the problem.

I'm having the same issue. Ridiculous that this is happening, and very annoying to discover it after sending an important email.
