Too many devices streaming

OP wrote that they are one person watching one thing at the time. Same happens to me. It is a bug in how Apple systems work together. When I play on iPhone and choose airplay to AppleTV I get this same pop up - too many devices playing.

And no, don’t offer me to remove authorised devices.

The issue isn't how many devices are logged into your account. It's how many you're trying to stream on at once. I have an Apple TV, a smart TV, a Fire TV stick, a Mac, an iPhone and an iPad all logged into my ATV+ account. But, as I am only one person (albeit one with two many gadgets), I only watch on one at a time so there is no problem.

Are you trying to watch on both devices at once?

No, that's not what they wrote. They wrote: "But I’ve only logged in my iPhone and MacBook not any other device.' That means they are logged into two devices. So, in theory, they could be attempting to stream from two devices. That is why I asked for clarification.

What are you Airplaying from the phone to the Apple TV? Are you trying to watch Apple TV+? If so, why not just use the app on the ATV?

Have you shared your Apple ID with anyone?
