iPad battery no longer charging. Device 3 months out of warranty.

Hi everyone, my 11" iPad Pro is 3 months out of warranty and no longer charges. A nice guy at the Genius Bar has confirmed the fault and has quoted a repair of £650 + VAT. What really stinks is that I got the device from Sky for £20 a month over 4 years and so I am stuck paying that until March 2026 for what amounts to a brick.


The Consumer Rights Act 2015 suggests that I should make more of a fuss. Does anyone have any similar experience?

I spent a while researching the Customer Rights Act 2015 and have downloaded a letter template from MoneySavingExpert.com. I have sent a letter to Sky and I'll let you know how I get on.
