forgot passcode don't want to reset as want to access photos
I have forgotten my passcode from my old phone, don't want to reset as I want to access photos that have not been backed up to my iCloud as the phone is so old

You have no choice but to reset the phone if you want to be able to use it again. If you have no backup, your photos and data will be gone forever and you cannot recover any of it.
