I have just bought an AOC USB Monitor 3.0 for use with the Mac mini m1 on the road. I downloaded the Mac plug and play driver from DisplayLink. It only worked once. The screen is no longer coming on, only lights up on plugging in the USB cable then goes black. Please help.

problem with such devices is that they are external video cards (because usb does not carry video or audio signals only raw data), so if the only monitor then if it's showing some dialog to request rights or update of software or some error msg then one will never see it
if you were to install some free vnc server on the mac then using an ios vnc client would enable you to take actions if the displaylink driver required attention
