Locked out iphone

My IPhone is glitching and locked me out for 3 hours. I still have the password. Is there anything I can do to get it unlocked or do I just wait for the 3 hours? It says to go to, “support.apple.com/iphone/password” but it didn’t tell me anything about how to fix it. Help?

You will need to wait the 3 hours and then enter the correct passcode.
