Transferring Live Photos

Hello, I have an iPhone 13 that is updated and I have a Samsung T7, 1TB SSD that I want to use to back up my photos and videos. It works great except it does not save my Live Photos as Live Photos. So if I transfer them onto the T7 and than want to use them later, even if I transfer them back to my iPhone than it is no longer a Live Photo.

So my question is, how can I transfer my Live Photos through the Files app onto a external SSD and still keep my Live Photos?
