If your external account offers that feature, verify your Apple Savings account using your external accounts App, website or support team. Once your external bank has verified your Apple Savings account, setup their automatic transfer feature and push funds from your external account to Apple Savings.

Another way, which would be a little less automatic is auto transfer to Apple Cash then manually transfer from Apple Cash to Apple Savings.

Some banks offer auto withdrawals. If yours doesn’t, an automatic transfer won’t work. My Chase Bank account allows me to do scheduled transfers. It’s really dependent on your external bank account.
