Cash app card connecting to Apple pay

Whenever I try to add my card to Apple Pay it says incorrect expiration date even though it is correct how do I fix this?

Previous forums mention entering a 4-digit year in the expiration date option, but the app does not provide the option to enter the date in manually. Apple Pay “incorrect expiration date” I just got my new debit card and trying to add it to the wallet but it keeps telling my expiration date is incorrect. I have the card in my hand, I know it’s correct. I’ve tried both capturing the image of the card and entering it all manually with the same result. What’s the fix?

Can't add a new payment method to Apple Pay I cannot add a new card, as it asks me for the expiry date to be between 2023 and 2043, although the expiry year of my card is within the limits of these dates. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Are you entering the 2 digit or 4 digit number?

Please try the two digit number for year. So today is 07/23. Try that format.
