MacBook Pro does not recognize my iPhone when I plug in w usb cable.my device doesn’t show in finder

Some points to check would be:

1. If you are using USB hub, try connecting directly to Mac
2. Check if USB cable is faulty, Try a different cable (This mostly fixes the issue), then Trust both devices
3. Restart both Mac and iPhone
4. Check if your iPhone and Mac are updated to latest software
5. Reset Mac's PRAM and NVRAM and check if it fixes the issue

Have you tried plugging your USB into a different port? Also, is your software up to date? Also have you tried restarting your device?
