Hi, suipacha, I’d be delighted to help you with your problem… the Apple Store is quite correct/right… see this link : https://appleinsider.com/articles/20/08/31/twelve-years-later-apple-is-still-trying-to-erase-maccom-email-addresses…. In a nutshell, @mac.com is dead as is me.com…. So you’d either have to transition to

iCloud.com for email or use another email provider, if you have an ISP( internet service provider) and working Internet service/Ethernet , then you could have/set up an email account with them or any other email provider that you like/choose… most Web/Internet service providers have a web page with how to set up an email account with them, with settings, how-to’s, help and suggestions… As well, most of them have a phone number/chat service to help you get things set up… as well, if you can, back up your old emails, however many you have/had??? Then make the change/transition to iCloud.com emails at least…also, the default setup is for IMAP and not POP or POP3… this link may also help you : iCloud: About your @icloud.com, @me.com, and @mac.com email addresses - Apple Support (CA) anyways, I can’t go into a ton of detail, as all I have to reply to you is this iPhone, no Mac mini, no iPad, no Mac Pro, MacBook or MacBook Pro, just this iPhone, anyways if you’re totally stumped, reach out/contact Apple support via the 1-800 number for your country ( where you live) and the friendly helpful folks there will indeed help you out…

good luck to you
