Toca Boca In-App Purchases

I redownloaded toca boca life world and I tried to restore my purchases but it would not work. Contacted apple support and the toca boca creators but no one could help. Purchases don’t show up in the purchase history either. It’s like everything is erased. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
