in the US, about US$250.

if you wish to defer that service, you can continue to use your Mac on power adapter until it becomes more deeply annoying. Just watch out for battery swelling, because that can damage other components.

I have an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar in my location next week. That was the suggestion I received after searching Apple.com

should cost less than buying a new MacbookPro
