Message Icon was accidentally deleted, how do I reinstall it?

You cannot delete the Messages app! You most likely hid it from your Home Screen, which means the Messages app is in your App Library - Find your apps in App Library on iPhone - Apple Support. You can test this by asking Siri to open the Messages app.

To add it back to your Home Screen, swipe all the way to the left past your last page.

1. In App Library, tap the search bar at the top.
2. Type Messages
3. Long press on the Messages app
4. Tap Add to Home Screen
