I want to transfer all my Music on Transcend ( added disk on my Mac ) could anybody explain what I have to do... ?
I want to free some place on my disk ( actuallly 60 Go free / global storage 500 Go

Yes you can move your Music Library to an external drive.

It is best to format the external drive before moving your Music Library to it.

It the Transcend drive is new, then reformat it before moving your music Library to it.
If the Transcend has files stored on it then move those files to another drive before reformatting.
Also keep in mind that you should backup the Music Library to a second external drive or include it in your Time Machine backups to be safe.

Thanks for your answer, but I want to do the opposite ;
cut alll thé MUSIC files to put them on a external drive… I need to free Space on my Mac DISK.
but if possible I would like to play music from the transcend disk….
I SEARCH where I cab take (cut) the music files to paste them on the transcend disk…
I used Finder to do exactly that recently ... copied from the external drive and pasted into the Mac's Music folder.
Then you simply reverse the copy & paste source and destination.
