Calculator does not show any currencies.

I just realized what the issue might be. I forgot there was an issue in Ventura. You have to select "Currency" again once the conversion window opens.

But on 3 Apple Computer 2 - M1, 1 - M2 all running Ventura 13.4.1 can not duplicate this Currency Conversion issue.

Suggest the below >>

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance 

3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

This just started happening to me 3 days ago. Running MacOS 12.7.3. I'm guessing it's some problem retrieving the data from Yahoo! I use the currency conversion almost daily and it was working fine until these past few days. Safe mode doesn't make any difference. Nor does hitting cancel as described above. Notice in the screen grab attached that the Data from Yahoo! logo doesn't show up as it normally would.

That's what you're supposed to see. If you enter a value into the calculator then choose Convert, you pick the units you want to convert from and to. In my screen shot as I think you can see the values were updated 7/10/23.

I don't even get why dialabrain shows with my 2017 iMac running Ventura. Nothing pops up when I select Currency.

I thought I'd add, you may want to take a look at PCalc in the App Store. I found it to be the best calculator available for Macs.

Too much dependency on the calculator app. Spotlight does currency conversions when you use the currency abbreviation like this to convert 100 Swedish kronors to other currencies including your preferred language currency:

100kr=<return>

or

100euro=<return>

or

100gbp=<return>

or

100euro in A$<return>

Are you saying you don't see this?
