I would like my I Pad information separate from my I Phone

How do I separate information on my I Phone from my I Pad?

Which information are you seeking to separate?


All of it? If so, that usually means switching the devices to different Apple IDs.


But if, for instance, you want to separate Photos, you might turn off iCloud Photos on one device, and leave it enabled on the other. Same for shutting off mail, or some other functions.


If you want to loan a device to somebody else, you will definitely want to switch to a different Apple ID.


So… that’s a simple question, but with different requirements, and different possibilities.


What are your goals here?
