Every time I try to play something from Paramount+ I get the message, "This video isn't available to watch in the country or region you're in." But I am in the United States. I am paying for Paramount+ through Apple so it is only available through the AppleTV app. I cannot sign into the Paramount+ app I've downloaded because I don't have login credentials to access it directly.

Paramount customer service directed me to sign in to the page: https://paramountplus.com/apple using my Apple account. That got me to create an account on their system that I was able to use to sign in to the standalone Paramount + app. Using that app I can stream media again.
I just can’t start shows from the Apple TV app in the up next section. That is a little bit of a disappointment.

if you use a vpn then that could be the cause
if not then if it was me then I would just cancel it

I am not using a VPN while this is happening.
I could cancel and re-enroll direct with Paramount I suppose, but the deal through Apple is less expensive.
I have reached out to Paramount+ and I also reported a problem to Apple using the link on my latest bill for that streaming service.

I had tried signing out of my Apple account on the Apple TV. That didn’t make a difference.

Very similar as the way you sign in. Go to ⚙ Settings﹥Accounts﹥, then choose Sign out.
For what device is this? Some devices may have a slightly divergent interface.
