Looking for information on how to recover a receipt for an iPhone that I purchased out of town at Apple store in Toledo Ohio AT&T is trying to charge me for a phone that I own but I cannot find my receipt

I was switching to spectrum from AT&T. I owned one of the phones that I switched to spectrum miss lead across the board so I stayed with AT&T I ended up buying the phone turns out phones out because I can’t find the receipt where I purchased it from the Apple store so it turns out to be 2000 bucks so I’m back to square one. So I’m trying to find this receipt to get 1000 bucks back

What do you mean AT&T is trying to charge you for it?
Apple keeps records for about 18 months. Call the store where you bought it and see if they can still provide a duplicate.
