NUMBERS AND CSV and Quickbooks

I am trying to load old Bank Statements to Quickbooks Self Employed. I download the statement to my mac as a pdf file. It loads in Numbers. I then save it as a csv file which is what QB needs. When I try to upload it to QB, I get error messages. I think it is trying to load a version of csv created by Numbers and the result is that it uploads a single Numbers Sheet, which, of course, is not recognised by QB. QB support have been helpful but have not yet come up with a solution. Any thoughts on a way through this?

Usually banks give an option to download data as csv. If yours does, you will find that easier than pdf. Quickbooks should then be able to import those files directly without your having to go through Numbers.
