Money debited post subscription cancellation within trial period

I’ve been notified that 14,900 INR has been debited from my account even after I canceled my subscription to an app (Speechify).

I checked with Speechify. They haven't received the money nor started the subscription so in my Apple purchases this is not showing.

Since the subscription payment method was through Google Pay (India) an auto-mandate has been raised on July 4 when I initiated the trial period with Speechify app and canceled it on July 6 (well within 3-day free trial window). I have confirmation of these in screenshots. However, on July 7, money got deducted for an annual subscription only with Apple showing no active subscription or payment receipt bill.
