I accidentlly deleted touch ID on my Mac. It is no longer visible under the login password in system settings. How do I reinstall it?
Okay well first, you can't delete the Touch ID preference pane. Second, it's located in System Settings > Touch ID & Password if I remember correctly.
First, try restarting your Mac.
Which Mac do you have?

Just to add, did you try the steps in If Touch ID isn't working on your Mac?
I did that first thing.
It is no longer an option in System Settings. It only says Password. It was there once.

I have iMac 24. I followed the link you suggested in your post. I turned the keyboard off, then on, then restarted my computer. IT WORKED! Thank You!
