iPod Touch and apple Home - new architecture supported ?

I use an iPod Touch to add Home devices. It runs the latest: 15.7.7.

Will it work with the new Home Architecture?

(I have no iPhone)

No, iOS 15.7.7 does not support the new Apple Home architecture. This is true for any Apple devices with iOS 15, including your iPod Touch.
