USB accessory needs power Connet "Apple USB" to a USB port on this Mac - BUT My Mac has no USB port! Only C. Am using a hub... what's wrong??

So trying to copy CD's of an audio book to my Mac... but continue to get the above message. What can I do to remedy this? The external DVD/CD drive worked well on my older MacBook Air

USB -C is a USB port just not like the Older USB-A port


You will need an Adapter from the link provided below

The USB Hub even if a Self Powered unit may or may not work for your purposes


This is especially true if running macOS 12 Monterey


The Chip Set in the HUB is effectively the Issue
