How can I import an edited photo from my MacBook photos to use as a wallpaper on my IPhone?

I edited a photo on my laptop to use on my phone as a Wallpaper but I can't see it on my iPhone 6s. Both my devices have the latest os installations.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.4

image instead of photo as Lock Screen wallpaper? I want to use custom images - not photos - as my Lock Screen wallpaper. When I use one from my photos library, it is dimmed down so much that it is unusable. Is there a way to create those images in a way that they are usable? I am using an iPhone 11. I prefer abstract images over photos as wallpapers.

I like to edit photos on my laptop and create a new named copy but then it is invisible on my phone.
