AppleID email is correctly displayed on my profile page, but iCloud Email uses a different email?

iCloud Email is using an incorrect Apple ID email address.

There are no email aliases listed in iCloud Email.


** Note! My correct email address is shown displayed in/on my Apple ID profile page.


(viewed/working on my Mac)


How do I fix this?

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. If your email is using the wrong email address when you are sending emails, here are a few steps to help:


1. When composing a new email, click on from and toggle to the desired email.

2. If the issue persists, confirm that your device is using the most recent software to rule out the older one: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support
