No problem at all. The "brick" and its connecting cable are simply a (more or less dumb) source of volts and amps. All the intelligence and control of charging is inside the device being charged. The rating on the brick is simply its maximum capability, your AirPods charging case will only take as much power as it needs, up to the limit of the brick's ability.
