"sam's macbook pro" screen

I have this setting on my macbook pro that I updated a while back and I don't remember how to undo it. Essentially, after a minute, my macbook pro screen will go black and will have "Sam's Macbook Pro" flashing on the screen along with the apple logo. It doesn't not to sleep, because once I move my mouse the screen goes away and goes back to whatever I was doing.

I want to remove this since it's cumbersome to continuously move my mouse whenever I am working on paper at the same time. I've restored defaults under settings > battery > battery and this didn't work. Looking for any advice.

Sounds like you've set it to display a message as a screen saver and not an image: System prefs/Settings > Screen Saver > Message. You may have to page down. That for Ventura, but it's similar for other OS.
