When syncing music to iPhone in Finder on iMac, is there a way of seeing albums AND the artist the album is by in the Albums tab? I don’t know who the artist is for every album in the list (I have thousands) so it would be nice to see both album title AND artist name in the same screen when choosing what to sync. Is this possible? Thanks.
The answer is to sync with selected playlists. It should be much easier to manage a single playlist in the Music app and then sync that, than to choose individual items from the Finder sync selection window.

I've found the same issue as you since updating to a newer Mac running the latest software.
Going by the responses in this thread there doesn't appear to be a fix for this issue, or have you maybe found a workaround?

Hey. Thanks but don’t think you understood the question - I want to see the album AND who it is by on the same filter screen. Currently, if I filter by album it just gives me a list of all my album titles. Doesn’t tell me the artist. Likewise, the list of artists doesn’t show me the album titles. Say I wanted to sync only one album by an artist for which I have 20 albums but I can’t remember what it is called. The list of albums is no help, and if I clicked on the artist it would sync all 20. I realise that I could just go and check in Music but it’s a hassle - would be better if I could do it from the Finder sync…
