Issue with Airpod Pro 2 working with Sony Walkman

Did you manage to resolve this? I am having the same issue...

Hello! Not long ago I upgraded from my Airpod pros to Airpod pro 2. Initially I had no issue connecting to and playing music from my Sony Walkman nw-a50 series MP3 player but after not too long it would connect but I would not hear any sound coming through the airpods except for a fraction of a second and only after I disconnected and reconnected the player. Any idea how to solve this issue? To be clear it connects fine but will not play any music even though the player is playing. The walkman plays fine with normal corded earbuds so it likely has to be something with the bluetooth connection protocol. Any help would be appreciated!!

If resetting doesn't help, let us know more:

For now, is the Sony Walkman the only device the AirPods can't connect to? Is the old phone you mentioned an iPhone? We want to narrow this down as much as possible since if it is only the Walkman, it might require specific steps from Sony to help troubleshoot Bluetooth issues.
