I am trying to add my debit card and the expiration date is valid and it’s telling me it isn’t. My debit card was linked to my Apple Pay for years and never had an issue and now all of a sudden, it’s telling me my expiration date for the card needs to be valid between 2023-2024 and it is. I have automatic payments that come out of there. What is the problem?

Wallet - Incorrect Expiration Date Trying to add a card to my wallet. The prompt keeps indicating that the expiration date is incorrect, but in fact - it is not. From the threads I've seen, this issue has been experienced by numerous users without resolve. I've tried removing and adding the card back - same message! Why have an app on the phone that is supposed to make touchless pay easier? Seems like a good idea in theory, but it doesn't work. What is the solution that resolves this issue?

I can’t add a new bank card to my Apple ID payment I did have some fraud claim after that I got a new bank card but when I add it in to download apps payment it’s show my expiration date is not valid. It’s keep show red [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Expiration date issues often are caused by inputting the expiration year incorrectly.

Carefully determine if you need to enter the year as two digits (“23”) or four digits (“2023”).
