How do I transfer my photo stream from iCloud to a folder on my iPad before it is removed

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open Photos and tap Albums.
  2. Tap My Photo Stream ➜ Select. 
  3. Tap the photos that you want to save, then tap the Share button  ➜ Save Image.


If you want to save therm outside of the Photos App, you can choose the "Save to Files" option in the steps above instead of "Save Image" and create a folder in the Files App in the "On My iPad" location.
