Screen Mirroring to ipad

Im trying to use my ipad pro 11" as a second monitor for my macbook air M2. Both are up to date on software. I can mirror my ipad display to my macbook but not the other way around. My ipad doesn't show up on screen mirroring on my mac. How do I get my macbook screen to mirror to my ipad?

Hi MechanicalCentaur!

To use your iPad as a second Screen to your MacBook, you would have to connect it via Bluetooth. Make sure both devices have bluetooth on.

To connect the iPad:

Go to the Control Center on your Mac > Click Bluetooth > Choose your iPad
