How do you stop continuous notifications about McAfee antiviral products?

I am constantly receiving notifications about McAfee products of the sort

They come from

disinespic.***/click.php?key=u94oatin5m7pksw83fku&SUB_ID_SHORT=cieaj6gviepimmfc22mg&placement_id=14586668&campaign_id=79732&site_id=3338&creative_id=271771&age=65&type=Push&PLACEMENT_ID=19034***

How can I stop these.

Those are notifications directly from Safari. dialabrain's method should work.


A visual:


Open Safari's preferences. Click on the Websites tab and then scroll down to Notifications. Clear any entries in the right hand window. You might find something similar in the Pop-up Windows heading below that. Block any you don't recognize.


Then if you want, uncheck the box below as shown here.


I personally can't think of any reason why I would ever want any website to push notices to me.
