After the update I noticed my USB external Superdrive does not work (although it is good) and sometimes when the computer is started, it comes up with Bluetooth shut off.
iMac (2017 – 2020)
It takes it in, it makes whirling sounds, then it stops and sits there. Nothing happens with the desktop or the music program. It does this with music CDs as well as movie DVDs. I have to disconnect the drive from the iMac and connect it to my daughters airbook to eject it. Her airbook is running with an older OS.
I don't use the drive everyday and I am just guessing its inability to work is from the latest update, but it could have been from an update before. I'm bummed out.
A SuperDrive has to be plugged directly into a port.
Yup. It's been in that port for years and worked fine. Same results moving to another port on the back of the computer. Thanks for your reply.
Well, I have one as well and it works with my Macs running Monterey and later. What happens when you insert a disk?
Sorry to hear it's not working. It should work with the current version of Ventura. If I think of something I'll post back.
