I BOUGHT MY MACBOOK PRO IN 2016 LATE. I NEED TO REPLACE BATTERY AND SOME OF THE KEYS AS APPLE PROVIDED FAULTY BUTTER-FLY KEYBOARD AND NOW ASKING FOR 550$.

It has a descriptor. For example, mine is iMac 21.5 inch 2017. Whatever it says is what you use.
If you are looking for what Mac model number you have specifically, click on the Apple logo. Then click on the About This Mac link. It will open a window that has that information.

For other Macs, no problem; I can find the serial number, but for this model I cannot. This broke my automation scripts that update Mac information to our inventory system; it is based on Mac model number...
