what happenend to the scrubbing buttons?

Gone.

No frame-by-frame buttons in Photos8 on Ventura 13.4?

Such a useful feature, I used to be able to scan a video for the perfect picture with my arrow buttons.

Now on my new MacBook Pro it's a missing feature, anybody know how to do this?

Screen capture highlight won’t go away When I take a screenshot the screen is dulled except for a window identifying the shot. Click the spacebar or Enter and the image is stored as a .png. So far, so good. But then the dulling/highlight-window remains. And it remains on every app. The only way to get rid of it is to restart my MacBook Pro (10.15.7), but using capture again produces the same effect.

Cropping tools now grayed out in full-screen mode In the past, when I hit 1 on the numeric keypad, iMovie took me to full-screen mode for more precise cropping. It still does that, but now the editing tools, including crop, are greyed out, as shown in the below screenshot! Maybe I accidentally hit some key earlier that put it into the wrong mode, but I can't figure out how to get back. One thing I've noticed is that when I hit keypad-1, the far left sidebar goes from saying PROJECT MEDIA at the top to lLIBRARIES. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Screenshot changes in Ventura - No edit mode by default With the update to Mac OS X Ventura, it seems like they have changed how the screenshots work. In previous versions, after taking a screenshot, it would open in edit mode so you could start drawing straight away. Now in Ventura this is not the case anymore, and you need to click a couple of times to be able to start drawing, which is quite annoying as the main use case when taking a screenshot is to draw/annotate something on it. Is there a way to change this so it behaves like it did before? Any settings or something I'm missing? Thanks.

That feature apparently has been left out of Ventura. Tell Apple what missing features you'd like restored or new features added in Photos via Feedback - Photos - Apple
