Snapchat notifications

I’m getting Snapchat notifications on my phone while using it, and on my Apple Watch simultaneously. I know when actively using your iPhone the Apple Watch shouldn’t get notifications at all. I’ve gone through all Snapchat notification settings within the app, all notification settings for Snapchat on my iPhone, and within the Apple Watch app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Snapchat, as well as restarted both devices. This has been going on for about a week. How do I get my watch to stop the notifications WHILE I’M USING MY PHONE. I’m so frustrated.
