Ipad on Water

I dropped my iPad Mini 5th Gen on water but it still fully works. It has been 10 hours and I’ve charged it. Does it mean that my iPad survive the water?

Next time this happens, immediately turn the device off and unplug it. Do not turn it on and do not connect it to power for 24-48 hours.

It's really hard to say when or if you may see damage. If water gets inside of the device, corrosion may start. And continue. It could happen this afternoon, next week or never. As you've already done all the things you could do to make it worse, you'll just have to cross your fingers and hope for the best.
