Music continues (does not pause) while calling or receiving calls.

If I am playing music in my car via bluetooth and through my speakers and someone calls me or I make the call, the music will not automatically pause for the phone call. After I've accepted or made the call, the music will continue to play. This NEVER happened on my iPhone 12, the music paused while one was on a call, either incoming or outgoing. But the music does NOT pause on my 14. I have to end the call, turn off music and then return their call. It's extremely annoying. I am current on all updates and I have rebooted so that is not the issue. There is a bug or something different in setting that I cannot find on the 14 that is causing this issue.

How do I fix this or when will a fix be available?

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand music doesn't pause when you're connected to your Car's Bluetooth and you receive a call. You may want to try renaming your device and then connecting to your car again to give you a fresh Bluetooth connection. Go to Settings > General > About > Name, and type a new name. Then try connecting again to see if the issues persists.

Also, you'll want to make sure that your stereo is using the latest firmware from the car manufacturer. Check your car's manual for more information. This can help with any compatibility issues your car's firmware has with the latest version of iOS.
